On May 20, Dr, John is also announcing his "Heart of Africa AIDS Walk". He iwill personally train 10,000 volunteer peer teachers in Rwanda, Congo D.R., Angola and Sudan. You can participate in the interactive outreach by webcast, email and Skype phone. CAN YOU DONATE PLEASE?

Fedor "Ted" Zahynayko from the Ukraine is our first overseas PeerCorps volunteer working in our U.S. headquarters.

In this vlog, Dr. John talks about some key features of the
newly-revamped website. He also discusses the latest statistics on
young people globally and new HIV infection rates that might shock
you.

You can also meet three other Staff members, Johanne Cimon, Victoria
Hall, and Mildred Goyco.

In a short excerpt from a cable TV show, Dr. John talks about his
robbery and injury in Panama in December (also see police report
under "Panama.")

Vlog #1 - February 1, 2006

Checkout Dr. John's test vlog (vlog is a relatively recent term that stands for a video blog and blog stands for -- hey, this is why we have created a Glossary of terms (check that out as well).

John introduces the concept of a weekly vlog. Here you can also meet three Staff members, Kevin Pelletier, Amanda Fregeau and Eric Rubera
(see their pics and bios, and all other TeenAIDS assistants under "Staff," under "About Us."

A two minute selection from Costa Rica is included. You will see some of Dr. John's AIDS Attacks on the campus of the University of
Costa Rica in San Pedro and meet Giovanni Quiros Rodriguez, a PeerCorps volunteer who is organizing the first bike-a-thon for TeenAIDS in March (a 250 kilometer ride). He is the newest member of our Global Board (see "About Us.")
