Shannon Sylvia is an entrepreneur who owns a website design business, By Design as well as a unique spa. As a teenager she helped found the "Peers for Life" organization that went to schools, prisons and worked with cities to educate children and adults about AIDS. In 2001, Shannon helped Dr. John and assistant Hung Trieu on his website after the first leg of his Global Walk was completed.

Shannon is lending a helping hand with her webmaster skills in organizing the revamped TeenAIDS website's content and design with a professional eye. She is happily married with two dogs and resides in Leominster, Massachusetts.
