Jean contacted TeenAIDS shortly before leaving for Guadalajara last summer after reading that Dr. John had done his "AIDS Attacks" in Mexico's second largest city in 2006. Her studies in Guadalajara were the last part of her Masters' degree in International Service from Roehampton University in London. She recently wrote, "I'm sorry that I wasn't able to help out for World AIDS Day in Guadalajara [2006]. The weeks leading up to it were our final projects and presentations, and then almost everyone in my program had flights home on Dec. 1st. There was a lot packed into this program and didn't leave much room for other things, unfortunately. I really appreciated you taking the time to meet with me (and my mother) and for your advice. I have returned to the US, and Ashby specifically, and am looking for jobs in New York or possibly DC. In the meantime, I was wondering if there is anything I can help with for your organization now. I'd be happy to volunteer while I have some time and am nearby. Please let me know if you have anything that you could use assistance with and I'd be happy to talk with you."
Jean is now organizing the Worcester portion of the Webcast from Clark University on November 27th.
