
Robb Moss is an independent non-fiction filmmaker whose work has been shown
at numerous national and international venues, including The Telluride Film Festival, the Museum of Modern Art in NYC, and the Cinéma du Reél in Paris. He has shot films in Ethiopia, Liberia, Greece, Mexico, Hungary, Japan, Turkey, Nicaragua, and the Gambia. Many of these films, on such subjects as famine, genocide, and the large-scale structure of the universe, have been broadcast nationally. Elected by the national membership to three terms on the board of directors, Moss is the former board chair and president of the Association of Independent Video and Filmmakers in New York City, the nation's largest membership organization devoted to the work of independent media makers. He is the Rudolf Arnheim Lecturer on Filmmaking at Harvard University where he has taught for the past fifteen years.
